Along with coding using html, css, and now JavaScript to build websites, I have skills and talents in several other areas of content creation. Some natural talents and some learned over the last several years.
For years now I have created small films using iMovie. Most of these films have been in a filming style called machinima, which uses video games to create movies. One of the highlights of my "film career" is a five part drama series titled "Kirkland". The series was filmed in the video game Halo 3, voice acted by friends and family, and has an orignal musical score created using GarageBand on Mac.
For over 15 years, I have volunteered to run the live recording and broadcasting of the Sunday morning services at the church I attend. Over the course of all these years I have learned to work with live streaming web services, operate cameras, and video media control devices and programs.
Currently I have taken to doing livestreams on YouTube as well. Most of these livestreams have been gaming related but a few have been digital art sessions. This has been another avenue of learning different methods of content creation.
I have been drawing ever since I can remember and in 2013 I took my art talent off of paper and onto the computer screen. My software of choice is Autodesk's SketchBookPro 6 and I use a Wacom Bamboo tablet. I have used several other programs such as GIMP and PowerPoint to create GIFs, colorful text titles, and other cool graphics.
I have a little bit of experience in 3D modeling. I have been using Blender to learn how to do 3D modeling, rigging, texturing and animating. I learn new techniques in my spare time as I attempt to bring various projects and ideas out of my head and into the world for others to see. I have been improving my ability to create various 3D objects for use in projects for animations or 3D printing.
