Can I recieve help with my own device?
Yes, walk-in assistance is available
Should I call before bringing in my device?
Yes, you should call to verify that you need to bring in your machine and to arrange a time during walk-in hours. A lot of issues can be resolved over the phone
What should I bring to the Help Desk when I drop off my device?
Your hardware device
Any chargers or adapters needed to power the device
What should I NOT bring with me when I drop off my device?
Do not bring monitors, keyboards, or mice, The Help Desk already has these
Can the Help Desk take my device apart and repair/replace faulty hardware?
The Help Desk cannot repair hardware, such as: faulty or malfunctioning motherboards, graphics cards, CD/DVD drives, add-on cards, etc. However, they can help troubleshoot hardware issues so that you can then take your computer to a local vendor to have your machine repaired or complete a repair yourself
